Pickleball is a sport in which two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis, with a few modifications.

With years of tennis experience and early exposure to pickleball through my 5.0 DUPR-rated dad. I’ve been refining my game long before 2020. I started playing more actively in 2024, bringing a strong foundation in mechanics and fundamentals. My coaching focuses on mechanical technique, strategy, and consistency to help players build solid skills and confidence on the court. Whether you’re new or experienced, I’ll help you elevate your game with a fundamentals-first approach.
Hi my name is Mark Coronado. I currently attend Texas State university. I’m studying exercise and sports science with a minor in education. As a pickleball instructor I like to take my passion for sports, coaching, and professionalism and use it to incorporate fun, patience and precision in my coaching style. Fourteen years of experience as an athlete playing basketball and then pickleball has given me a broad and extensive foundation in sport and athleticism. Upon my high school graduation I realized how much I enjoyed pickleball and wanted to continue to broaden my playing ability to other sports. As I continued to learn and play this fun sport I knew I wanted to set high goals and pursue being certified as a pro so that I could share pickleball with others. It is my goal to share the fun and athleticism of the game with all players regardless of level.
Great food and great times are always in play at Chicken N Pickle!
