Pickleball is a sport in which two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis, with a few modifications.
Indoor Courts:
Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm: $20 per hour
Mon-Fri 5pm – 9pm: $40 per hour
Sat-Sun 8am-9pm: $40 per hour
Outdoor Courts:
Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm: $10 per hour
Mon-Fri 5pm – 9pm: $20 per hour
Sat-Sun 8am-9pm: $20 per hour
Late Night Courts:
9pm – close: $10 per hour
Paddle Rental / Demo Paddles: $4
Pickleball: $3.50

These 1 hour lessons are tailored to the skill level of the player and the desired objectives. A Private Pickleball Lesson is the ultimate learning environment. The time is totally dedicated to the player and what they need and want out of the lesson. No matter what your skill level or goals, a private lesson at Chicken N Pickle will help you advance your game, hone your skill development and enhance your overall enjoyment of the sport.
If you and a friend or group of players with similar abilities would like to improve your game, then a Semi-Private Pickleball Lesson could be the best for you. Having a partner or group to share the learning experience certainly enhances the journey and provides a game plan to help each other improve. This format is especially good for beginners to get started learning this great game. Grab a friend or group and give us a call to schedule a time. We also will be happy to find another Chicken N Pickle player to match you up with, if necessary.
The 3 and A Pro Lesson allows a Chicken N Pickle teaching professional to play along in games which allows immediate feedback on shot selection, strategic decisions and court positioning. This is a very effective learning environment for all levels of players when working on doubles strategy and tactics. In addition, time can be dedicated to developing new shots and partnership development as well.

After teaching tennis for a decade, has made the transition to pickleball full-time. Spent a year directing a country club pickleball program in Austin, TX prior to moving to Wichita to join the CNP team. Enjoys playing both doubles and singles competitively, and experienced coaching players ranging from a beginner level to 5.0.
Michael Farlow, a former college tennis player at Northwest Missouri State, is a 5.0-level pickleball player and a medalist in multiple 4.5 and 5.0 tournaments. With over five years of coaching experience, he is dedicated to helping players succeed through modern techniques and strategic guidance. As a Certified Mental Performance Consultant, Michael combines his athletic and mental training expertise to build resilience and elevate athletes.
Dan grew up in Conway Springs, KS. and has lived in Wichita since 1980. He has enjoyed playing and teaching tennis for 45 years and teaching Pickleball for 6 years. As a certified instructor he loves to share his knowledge of Pickleball with clients. He enjoys playing golf leisurely and spending family time with grandchildren.
Donnie has been a National Level Tennis player and fell in love with Pickleball 4 years ago. He is a 5.0 level planer and has won the Super Competitive Division at Chicken N Pickle. For years, this has been the highest level league in Wichita.
