Meet us on the courts!

Pickleball is a sport in which two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis, with a few modifications.

Joseph Reliford

Chicken N Pickle CERTIFIED Instructor

I started playing pickleball at the end of 2023 and quickly discovered not just a love for the sport, but also a deep appreciation for the community it creates. What began as a fun hobby turned into a true passion. Today, I’m a pickleball coach at Chicken N Pickle, working primarily with beginner and intermediate players to help them build strong fundamentals while enjoying every step of their journey. I believe great technique and having fun go hand in hand, and that’s the energy I bring to every lesson. Looking ahead, my goal is to open my own pickleball facility where I can continue growing the game, building community, and helping more people discover the joy of pickleball.

Max Kuentz

My goal is to not only teach others how to play pickleball but to play the game fairly and to be a good stewards of the game.”

Melisa Burleson

I love pickleball! I was previously an elite tennis professional and director of racket sports and aquatics, but now it’s all about pickleball. I am a level 2 certified instructor and I love teaching anyone, from beginners to advanced players. I enjoy seeing their love of the game and the satisfaction of improving. Just keep moving!
