Local artist and art instructor, Julia Mandl @juliamandlart, will be on hand to teach you the basics of calligraphy so you can craft a truly beautiful, one-of-a-kind card. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or picking up a pen for the first time, this is the perfect chance to learn something new, enjoy a drink, and make some new friends, all while supporting a great cause.

At the end of the event, attendees will vote for their favorite design and the winning card will be printed and added to the Birthday Connections Marketplace, where families can choose it for a child’s special day!
