Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels | Corporate Development Officer
Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I attended Arizona State University and majored in psychology, during my undergrad I worked for non-profit, America Reads, who helped teach students as part of an afterschool program. Shortly after, I worked for AZ Kids THINK Too which taught STEAM based lessons to students in low-income school districts. Working at both of these organizations showed me the importance of advocacy. Being able to not only be a part of their education, but see the changes and their progress was extremely humbling.
After I graduated from ASU, we entered the pandemic and I felt the right move for me at the time was to pursue graduate school. I was accepted into the Master’s of Business Administration program at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. After graduating, I moved back home to Arizona and did marketing for a bit but ultimately felt that it didn’t fill my cup. That was when I found the position I am currently in, corporate development officer at Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels. Being able to be a part of these families who have a child battling cancer or another life threatening illness has been a privilege.
