Lauren Stratman on the Chicken N Pickle Pro Team!!

Lauren Stratman has been a full-time professional pickleball player for the past 2 and a half years. She started playing Pickleball in 2019 after one of her tennis students introduced her to the sport. It wasn't until her first tournament in February 2019 that she became absolutely hooked on the game. She played tennis her whole life up until about age 24. She played D1 college tennis for one year at Columbia University before transferring to Westmont College and finishing her remaining 3 years playing tennis there. She was so used to constantly competing that when she graduated college, she wasn't really sure what to do with her life and a lot of her free time. Pickleball was the perfect thing to fuel those competitive juices.

Pickleball has led to so many great relationships and friendships. She has met so many incredible people along the way, including her boyfriend, Julian Arnold, who she has been dating for the last year and a half. They live in Austin, TX, now and enjoy training and playing pickleball with all the pros who live in this cool city. They are both foodies and love trying new restaurants, new coffee shops, etc.

She is looking forward to competing in mixed doubles with Julian this year on the PPA tour, and very excited to be competing with the Las Vegas Night Owls in this first season of 2023.
